At 70, Veteran Director Returns After 19 Years Gap

It looked inevitable looking at the way, the daughter of Mahesh Bhatt is going great guns at the box office. We are talking about the youth sensation Alia Bhatt, the youngest daughter of director Mahesh Bhatt, an acclaimed veteran director.

Mahesh Bhatt quit direction 19 years ago. But with Alia Bhatt taking giant strides an a female star, a film in their combination always looked like a possibility. The expected has happened. On the 70th birthday of Mahesh Bhatt, a comeback venture for the veteran as the director has been announced. It will be Sadak 2, a sequel to the cult 90’s hit Sadak.

The main lead from the original Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt will be part of the sequel whereas Alia Bhatt, and Aditya Roy Kapur will be the new entrants. The movie will hit screens on March 25th 2020.
