BO Debacle Has Zero Impact on Friday Release

Salman Khan is back in the highlights with his much awaited film ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. This YRF creation is a sequel to the blockbuster action flick ‘Ek tha Tiger’ which featured Salman along with Katrina Kaif. Kaif reprises her role in ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ which, apparently, is the highest budget film made by Yash Raj Films.

The film is doing wonders without even having released yet. While this action thriller has a lot of expectations riding on its back, it was anticipated that Salman’s previous film, Tubelight’s failure will affect its success. However, the film already has several housefull advanced bookings and seems to be going the opposite route of ‘Tubelight’ which was a huge disaster.

TZH will hit the theatres this upcoming Friday and is easily one of the biggest releases of this year. Even with its immensely high ticket prices at some places, analysts predict that the film will surpass many box office records. Popular analyst, Taran Adarsh tweeted about the movie’s pre-bookings stating that, “Well begun is half done…”.
