So, how could all those kissing scenes and Ranveer Singh’s bare butt in ‘Befikre‘ make it to the theaters? Clearing the airs on the misconception that CBFC had been lenient, CBFC Chairman Pahlaj Nihalani said that they actually used scissors for Ranveer’s butt.

Originally, Ranveer Singh’s bare butt scene was longer and the actor had revealed more than what we actually got to see in theaters. They cut the scene and allowed some part of it only for maintaining the continuity. Even some of the kissing scenes were chopped off for television viewing. Nihalani says they are going to view every film case by case and ‘Befikre’ isn’t going to be the yardstick for bold scenes in future films. Here the content’s genuineness was taken into consideration.
