Chhaava’s Huge Bookings: Genuine or Rigged?

The advanced bookings for Chhaava started on the 8th of February and the movie is showing huge numbers. The advanced bookings have already surpassed the sales for Stree 2 and can even go on to overtake Animal.

Four days prior to the release the movie has sold out one lakh and three thousand tickets in all. Stree 2 had sold 47 thousand tickets four days before release. On This list, before Chhaava are movies like Animal, Tiger 3 and Jawan.

But are these sales really genuine? Trade analysts are thinking there might have been rigged sales for the movie. Maddock has given extraordinary successes like Stree 2 and Munjya in the past year but looks like Chhaava does not have the hype that Stree 2 had.

Outside Maharashtra there is not much buzz for the movie, then how is it possible that it is selling such huge numbers. It looks like they are creating a false demand for the movie to lure more people.

Analysts have posted about the false bookings of Chhaava and think that box office numbers cannot be trusted anymore. If it is true, it is really unfortunate that a successful production house like Maddock is having to stoop to this.
