Chhaava BO Scam: Senior Trade Analyst Banned

Senior trade analyst Komal Nahta seems to be a thorn in the leg for Dinesh Vijan’s ‘Maddock Films’ ever since he brutally exposed them for malpractices in ticket bookings regarding ‘Sky Force’.

The massive reveal highlighted the ways by which massive frauds were taking place, be it by ‘block bookings’ or by giving massive cashback to the people, not reflected in the final sales numbers.

The veteran journalist also highlighted discrepancies in ‘Chhaava’, exposing how the producers were going far enough to even rig the advance booking figures.

In a post thanking the public on X, Komal revealed how he has not been invited by Maddock Films to Chhaava’s press show, something he considers as a small price for his honesty.

He said, “Thank you all for your compliments for my video on exposing the unhealthy practice of block bookings and inflating box-office collections of films…

…But guess what? Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films have ensured that I am not invited to today’s press show of #Chhaava. Small price to pay for being honest!

Many on social media have come forward to express their opinions on the same.

One user said, “Komal Nahta’s honesty is commendable. The audience deserves to know the truth behind these so-called ‘blockbusters.’”

Another user criticized Komal as he wrote, “This is just a publicity stunt by Komal Nahta to stay relevant. If he was truly concerned about ethics, he’d call out all offenders, not just select ones.”

While criticizing is one’s personal choice, the blame can’t be put on Komal Nahta here. He is absolutely in the right with this issue, being one of the few unbiased media figures left with the guts to call out the industry.
