The director said that as an Indian he loves the nation like everyone else and respects the sentiments. But when it comes to the movie industry and its people, Karan Johar feels that they are made easy targets to avoid a larger problem. The situation is such that the creative people should fold hands and request them to be left alone.

Banning talent from one country is not the solution to the problem rather it is an easy way to vent out the anger, the actors are mere entertainers and they should be allowed to do that freely no matter where they are from – is the final bottom-line by the star director.
