According to several sources, the renowned filmmaker is set to work alongside Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, and Vedang Raina. In what is supposed to be a period love story, the filmmaker will be casting three different actresses of different generations to showcase an epic tale of love.

Diljit Dosanjh was recently seen shining in Chamkila which received great reviews from the critics. Vedang Raina’s recent performance in Jigra was also decent and having a veteran like Naseeruddin Shah will certainly add more versatility to the film.

As fans are huge admirers of Imtiaz Ali’s way of showcasing love on the big screens with his masterpieces like Tamasha and Rockstar, fans are eager to see his upcoming period love story.

The filmmaker aims to start the shooting this summer and release it around Valentine’s weekend next year. As history suggests, Imtiaz Ali’s films haven’t been a huge box office success over the years.
