On January 5, the makers of Deva released the film’s teaser across social media platforms.
The 52-second teaser showed a glimpse into the movie’s intense narrative. Shahid Kapoor is the centre of attention in the lead role with adrenaline-pumping action sequences and electrifying energy.
Shahid’s bold and powerful performance has earned widespread praise from both audiences and critics alike.
In a recent interview, the film’s director, Rosshan Andrrews, talked about Shahid Kapoor’s intense portrayal of a cop in the teaser. Andrrews revealed that the character was written in a way that embodies a fearless and rebellious spirit, showcasing a “don’t care” attitude.
He further explained that Kapoor needed to strike a balance between this rugged demeanour and the authoritative essence of a police officer. That’s because the film’s narrative is deeply rooted in the world of law enforcement.
According to Andrrews, Deva is a character who defies norms and blends defiance with measured restraint.
The dynamic and bold performance of Shahid as a police officer has a lot of fans excited to witness this film. His performance is amplified by thrilling dance moves alongside Pooja Hegde, promising an exciting and thrilling experience.
As if that wasn’t enough, Jakes Bejoy has managed to give the film an intense and impactful background score that seems to elevate the grandeur of the film.
With the ongoing buzz around the film, we can guess that Deva is highly capable of becoming the first hit film of 2025!
