First look of Rustom Pavri, a Navy officer

Despite his prowess at comedie, Akshay Kumar is a versatile actor and succeeds even in his portrayal of serious characters. One such serious character is donned by the actor in his latest film Rustom where he would performing the part of a Parsi naval officer, Rustom Pavri.

This film is being made under Neeraj Pandey whose earlier collaborations with the actor has given goof results as in the case of Baby and Special 26. As for Rustom, the film is inspired by real life incidents and is expected to be a murder mystery with a romantic plot in the background.

Meanwhile, to share the first look of the film that is releasing on August 12, quite close to independence day, Akshay took to Twitter and posted “Decorated officer.Devoted family man.Defending his honour.His name? RUSTOM.Know his story on 12 Aug #RustomFirstLook.”
