High Patriotism, Low Star Power? WAR 2 Surprise?

Farhan Akhtar’s next film, 120 Bahadur, is all set to arrive in the big screen this year. The latest update has now stated that the teaser of the film will arrive in the first week of August. However, the makers are yet to share an official announcement of the same.

The teaser is reportedly bringing a grand-scale experience for the audience as the makers are planning a big launch in Mumbai. The film will feature some different kinds of action sequences, and the makers have hired international personalities for the same.

A source opened up on Farhan’s role as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati (PVC), saying that he went through intense preparation for the role, and he will appear in a form that audiences have never seen him in the past.

Moreover, the makers are reportedly going for a longer marketing campaign this time to create awareness about the film. A few sources have claimed that the teaser might get attached to War 2, which is arriving on August 14, 2025.

While the subject of 120 Bahadur looks interesting, no one can deny the fact that Farhan Akhtar does not have the star power to pull crowds to theatres. His last big hit as a solo actor was Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, which worked only because of its strong content and positive word-of-mouth.

On the other hand, people easily get attracted to films with patriotic themes. But that is restricted only to those films that can blend emotion and entertainment together in such a way that it can keep audiences hooked to the big screen.

120 Bahadur will be set in the background of the India-China War that happened in 1962. If the teaser and trailer can create some excitement, people will come to the theatres to watch the film. Let’s wait and see what the makers have prepared for the audience.
