Bollywood is a very non-forgiving place. These days as actors are getting trolled, left right and centre if they are not making quality films. The same is evident if we look at debut actor Veer Pahariya, who made his debut with recent film Sky Force featuring Akshay Kumar in the lead role.
Coming to the topic now, Veer is now getting trolled badly on social media after the release of this film.
Notably, the Hero had a strong PR campaign, leading into his debut film, as there were several media personnel and outlets that hyped up his presence in the film. There were countless positive posts from certain handles regarding the young hero.
However, as it turned out, Veer Pahariya had very little presence in the film as it rode almost entirely on Akshay Kumar, which is perhaps understandable as well.
Incidentally, Veer Paharia came under the pump again after a video of him dancing along with a common in theatre, went viral, and this in turn brought more trolls on him. People felt that he was overdoing things for just playing a support role in the film.
The extensive PR works turned out to be overboard for this actor, which in turn led to more trolls on social media.
That being said, Veer Paharia cannot be blamed for this either. He is the grandson of farmer CM of Maharashtra, Sushil Kumar Shinde. He has virtually endless resources at his disposal, and it is only common that he will try to enforce the same to launch himself perfectly in Bollywood.
Performance wise, Veer Pahariya was decent enough for a debut actor. But the extensive PR appears to have backfired, which is a mistake he will have to sort out in the future.
