After the success of Chamkila on Netflix, Imtiaz Ali is set to return to the OTT platform with a web series. As the showrunner and writer, he will oversee the directorial venture of his brother Arif Ali.
Imtiaz will be uniting with Laila Majnu fame Avinash Tiwary for the series named O Saathi Re. The stellar star cast will also have Aditi Rao Hydari and Arjun Rampal in lead roles.
It is supposed to be a classical ode to love in a contemporary setting. The script is ready and starcast is finalised, the platform has also released an official announcement today and fans can’t hold back their excitement.
In a teaser it was shared that the team united for a table read and a vibrant energy was set by the entire team. Fans are hopeful and as always expectations are high with Imtiaz Ali.
