Industry Sinking, SRK Busy In Celebration?

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is all set to celebrate the milestone of completing his 29 years in Bollywood at Global Village Dubai this weekend.

While this is exciting news for many who will get to see their idol performing live, it does not look well for Bollywood’s well-being.

SRK is one of the few stars left in the industry with the ability to pull crowds in huge numbers. People on the internet think that he should utilize that capability by signing more films instead of doing these random events that will bear no fruit.

At a time when many big Bollywood actors are getting stopped at mere Rs.5-10 Crores opening day collections, SRK’s Pathaan and Jawan gave massive opening day collections worth Rs.55 Crores and Rs.65 Crores respectively.

The need of the hour is for King Khan to respond to his industry’s call as an actor, rather than focussing his time and energy on random events and selling his own clothing brand.

Many of his fans have been very vocal on this matter, expressing themselves on social media.

One user said, “While it’s great to see SRK celebrating his legacy, we miss seeing him on the big screen. Hoping for more film announcements soon!”

Another commented, “Events like these are wonderful, but Bollywood needs its King back in action-packed roles.”

With the public’s opinion being crystal clear, it is now up to SRK to get back in the grind and give us more of his glamour on the big screen.
