Crazy Kalyanam Trailer
Crazy Kalyanam stars VK Naresh, Anupama Parameswaran, Tharun Bhascker and Akhil Uddemari of Raju Weds Rambai fame. Produced by Boosam Jagan Mohan Reddy under the Arrow Cinemas banner as Production No. 2, directed by Badrappa Gajula, and featuring music by Suresh Bobbili, the film arrives worldwide on October 16.
The film has released its theatrical trailer at an event today. Featuring comedy, romance, wedding celebrations and family situations, the trailer offers a glimpse of the film’s story ahead of its Dasara release. Rather than following a conventional marriage-drama formula, the film appears to introduce unexpected twists through its characters and their complicated relationships.
Tharun Bhascker as Balraju plays an important role in the story. As the son-in-law of VK Naresh, he presents a contrast by acting like a Suddapusa in the morning and becoming a drunkard at night. His unusual behaviour adds a comic element to the family drama. Meanwhile, VK Naresh decides to find a suitable match for his daughter, played by Anupama Parameswaran. Just when the marriage plans begin taking shape, Akhil Raj Uddemari enters the story, attempting to win Anupama’s heart and complicating the situation further.
Anupama’s character brings a modern perspective to the narrative. She is independent, career-minded and clear about her expectations from married life, including the idea that her husband should wash dishes while she pursues her job. The situation takes another turn when her father introduces a prospective match and she reveals that she is already in love with another man. Her Telangana accent adds a local flavour to the character.
Will Anupama’s marriage take place as planned? Will she reunite with Akhil Raj? The trailer raises these questions while showcasing the confusion, emotional exchanges and wedding celebrations surrounding the family. With its mix of comedy and family drama, Crazy Kalyanam is scheduled for release during the Dasara season.
