Jaat Day 1 BO: Huge Fall from Gadar 2’s Opening?

Sunny Deol’s Jaat is releasing in the upcoming week on April 10, 2025, and the action entertainer is expected to leave a positive impact on the audiences visiting the theatres.

After Gadar 2, Sunny might be willing to take a big opening, and the possibilities will be revealed once the advance booking starts on different platforms. However, double-digit figures are being expected due to the response received by the teaser and trailer.

Following the underwhelming response to Sikandar, theatre owners are depending on Jaat and are hopeful that big crowds will turn up at different places like they did at the time of Gadar 2.

While a few people are expecting Jaat to take an opening of Rs. 10 crores, the numbers might rise considering that it is releasing on Mahavir Jayanti. In case the numbers remain the same as per expectations, it will possibly witness a rise since the film will get an advantage of the extended weekend.

However, the opening day numbers have to be around Rs. 15-20 crores for a better theatrical run. The predictions for day 1 has hinted that the promotions were not up to the mark.

Sunny Deol’s action and his confrontation with the main villain Ranatunga, played by Randeep Hooda, are supposed to be the main highlight of the film, and if this leaves an impression on day 1, the collections will get better by the next three days.

Director Gopichand Malineni has a habit of adding masala elements, and he has possibly done the same in Jaat.

But there is also a doubt on whether the film will be as intense as Gopichand’s previous projects. Things might turn out to be different, and everything that people saw in the trailer might not leave an impression when they watch the film.

With only five days left for release, let’s see if Jaat can bring heavy profits for the theatre owners or if they have to wait for a miracle in the upcoming months.
