Ranveer Singh’s actioner Dhurandhar strengthened the box office and recorded one of the highest collections in recent years. The film has earned over 890 crores so far. These numbers place it among the biggest post-pandemic successes in Bollywood.
Apart from strong collections, the overall footfalls across India are expected to reach around 3.55 crores. The film maintained steady performance for nearly eight weeks. It showed clear dominance in the Hindi belt throughout its run.
However, Dhurandhar could not cross the total footfalls of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan. With around 3.92 crores of footfalls, the SRK actioner became a massive hit. It still remains the most-watched Bollywood film of all time.
It is also important to consider ticket pricing. The average ticket price for Dhurandhar was around 270 Rs across India. In comparison, Jawan had a lower average of around 210 Rs per ticket.
Another key factor is language reach. Dhurandhar was released only in Hindi and still achieved strong footfalls. On the other hand, Jawan had a multilingual Pan Indian release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
While debates may continue about which film was more profitable, footfalls tell a clear story. SRK’s Jawan remains the most-watched Bollywood film in theatres after the pandemic. This record highlights its unmatched audience reach.
