Media Threatens Boycott of Actress for Rude Comments

Jaya Bachchan‘s rivalry with paparazzi is a tale as old as time which has become all the more intense in recent years. She can be spotted on many occasions scolding media persons and declining their requests for photographs.

Many times this generates humorous memes and reels on social media which people enjoy. She has made it clear in many interviews that she is not comfortable with getting clicked by someone who invades her privacy.

However, most recently she talked with Burkha Dutt about the same issue and her word usage has upset the paparazzi. She called them “drainage tight… gandi pants” people, targeting their economic background.

Media persons reacted to this comment in anger and have collectively threatened to not cover her grandson Agastya Nanda’s next film Ikkis. Many said that Amitabh Bachchan appears weekly at the balcony of his house which none other than these paparazzi cover.

She does not have a problem when her family members aim to gain benefit from media coverage but treats the same media people with utter disregard.
