The teaser of the upcoming film Kala Hiran has landed in legal trouble. Over allegations that it draws inspiration from Salman Khan’s blackbuck case. Today Delhi High Court directed the makers to remove the trailer from all platforms.
The controversy erupted after the teaser was released online, with the petitioner claiming that the film’s promotional material closely resembled Salman Khan’s long-running legal battle related to the 1998 blackbuck hunting case.
Today During the hearing, the court made a strong observation on the importance of an individual’s reputation, stating that “reputation once lost is lost forever.” The remark came while considering a plea that argued the teaser could lead audiences to believe the film was based on Salman Khan‘s decades-old legal battle, thereby causing irreparable damage to his public image.
on the other hand, makers of Kala Hiran stating that Kala Hiran is a fictional work and denied that it was intended to depict or target Salman Khan.
With the teaser now ordered to be taken down, all eyes are on the next hearing, where the court will examine whether Kala Hiran crosses the line between fictional storytelling and an alleged portrayal of real-life events.
