Kamaal R Khan, widely known as KRK, has sparked fresh controversy with a blunt critique of the film Saiyaara, its lead actress Aneet Padda, and how the film’s success is being celebrated. He alleged that Aneet staged an airport scene to grab media attention, despite claiming she felt “very embarrassed” by the spotlight.
KRK accused her of orchestrating the incident by allegedly paying the media to be present at her arrival. He questioned her sincerity, pointing out the contradiction between feeling embarrassed and inviting press coverage. According to him, it was all part of a calculated publicity stunt.
He also went after Aneet Padda’s professional capabilities, bluntly stating she lacks the qualities of a true heroine. KRK dismissed the film’s success as a fluke and warned her against becoming overconfident, predicting she might disappear once the current hype fades away.
Further stirring the pot, KRK criticized the choice of hosting the movie’s success party in Singapore instead of Mumbai, Bollywood’s usual celebration hub. He expressed suspicion over this move, given that the film earned its revenue in India, but the money was spent abroad.
KRK compared the strategy to Kapil Sharma’s financial habits, where money earned in India is allegedly spent overseas. In his view, this reflects a larger issue in the industry, where image-building and financial planning often lack transparency.
In essence, KRK’s remarks suggest that the buzz surrounding Saiyaara is manufactured, and he raised serious doubts about the authenticity of both its leading lady and the motivations behind the celebration of its success.
