Salman’s Maatrubhumi Backlash: Fans Say, ‘Bhai Bas Karo’

Salman Khan’s Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace is facing backlash after the teaser of its new song Mera Jee Nahi Bhara was released. The update has triggered strong reactions across social media.

The teaser features newcomers Zeyn Shaw and Abhishrri Sen. However, it did not meet audience expectations, especially among Salman Khan’s core fan base.

Fans were expecting an action focused update from the war drama. Instead, the makers released another romantic track, which has led to disappointment.

So far, three out of the four announced songs are romantic. This has created confusion about the film’s core theme and direction.

Many users questioned whether the film is a love story or a war based project. The absence of action glimpses has become a major concern.

Interestingly, Salman Khan’s own fans have been highly critical. Several comments online suggest that the songs are affecting the film’s hype negatively.

Some viewers compared the visuals to Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. They pointed out similarities in grand set design and lack of action elements.

There are also calls from fans to reconsider the release strategy. A section of viewers suggested an OTT release instead of a theatrical launch.

The backlash has raised concerns within trade circles. Questions are being asked about the film’s ability to compete with recent action heavy releases.

Films like Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, have set higher expectations for action cinema. Audiences now expect strong visuals and intense storytelling.

In comparison, Maatrubhumi is being seen as following an older narrative style. This may not connect with current audience preferences.

With months left for release, the makers still have time to change the perception. A strong trailer with action sequences could help rebuild interest.

For now, the negative buzz remains a challenge. It will be crucial for Salman Khan and director Apoorva Lakhia to address these concerns.
