Mardaani 3 Reviews: Yash Raj Films Exposed?

Rani Mukherji’s latest cop thriller Mardaani 3 has released in cinemas, and early reviews suggest the film is decent but offers nothing significantly new. The story follows a familiar pattern seen in earlier parts of the franchise.

The film highlights the disturbing issue of child trafficking and once again tries to reflect social realities. Like the previous two films, it aims to hold a mirror to society through a serious and emotional narrative.

Rani Mukherji shines in her role as Shivani Shivaji Roy and delivers a strong screen presence. Her performance remains intense and engaging, making her the main strength of the film.

Mallika Prasad plays the antagonist Amma and is moderately effective in her role. However, she fails to match the powerful impact created by Vishal Jethwa in Mardaani 2, which becomes noticeable.

Although the second half feels stretched, the film stays true to its core message. It may work as a one-time watch for fans of crime thrillers and serious dramas.

The box office performance remains uncertain for now. The film faces tough competition from Sunny Deol’s Border 2, which could affect its first weekend collections.
