Yash Raj Films Under Fire Again: Anti-Hindu Propaganda?

Mardaani 3 has been in the spotlight following the release of its trailer. The Rani Mukerji starrer continues the female-led franchise that has delivered consistent success for YRF. The film has generated strong buzz across social media platforms.

With the third instalment, expectations have increased significantly. The story introduces a new female villain, setting up a tense face-off between two strong women. The makers promise a gritty thriller that raises the stakes higher than before.

However, controversy has also followed the trailer’s release. Certain social media pages and tabloids have labelled the film as anti-Hindu propaganda. Their claims are based on the observation that villains in the franchise have been Hindus.

Criticism has also targeted the opening line, “In a country which worships goddesses, thousands of daughters go missing every week.” Some viewers believe this statement attacks their religion and accuse YRF of pushing a specific agenda.

Many viewers have come forward to defend the film. They argue that such claims are baseless and exaggerated. Fans point out that thousands of Indian films feature Hindu villains without being labelled propaganda.

Supporters also state that not every social issue shown in cinema is an attack on religion. They feel the film highlights uncomfortable truths and encourages introspection rather than promoting hatred.
