This film is crucial for Mrunal, who last appeared in Telugu cinema with Hi Nanna in 2023. After the poor performance of Son of Sardaar 2, fans hope Dacoit helps her bounce back and prove her position as a pan-India actress.

Competing with Dacoit is YRF’s next Spy Universe installment, Alpha, starring Alia Bhatt. After the failure of WAR 2 despite Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR’s presence, YRF faces pressure to revive audience trust in its spy franchise.
