A remake of the Tamil film Mouna Guru, Akira is a women centric film and Sonakshi has been working hard on it since the last few months. The actress has also undergone thorough physical training to give life to the character and this is reflected in the first look poster of the film where Sonakshi looks all kinds of intense and badass!
Also starring Konkona Sen Sharma in a key role, the action thriller film is a first for Sonakshi. The film was originally slated for a September 23rd release but it has since been changed to September 2 which has been confirmed through a poster which comes with a tag line ‘No one will be forgiven’.
