Trailer Talk: Another Unrecognizable South Remake

Here is one more addition to the list of unrecognizable remakes made by Hindi film industry taking inspiration from Southern movies. The film in question is Nanu Ki Janu starring Abhay Deol, and its original is Pissasu (Pisachi in Telugu) directed by Mysskin.

One look at the trailer and anyone can guess where the actual has been sourced from. The original which was a serious affair has been entirely turned into a comedy. One doesn’t know if the credits have been given or if the rights are taken. Recently, it was the same case with Baaghi 2 as well where the entire tone of the original Kshanam was changed into high octane action movie.

Check out the trailer below. Actor Abhay Deol is known as much for his integrity as much as script sense. Let us see if he gives clarity to the remake aspect.
