Actors not allowed to meet to maintain shock value!

This Friday, Bollywood saw the release of a realistic story ‘Neerja’ of an internationally lauded woman Neerja Bhanot who saved 300 passengers on a hijacked flight in Pakistan by terrorists. The maker of the film mostly chose theater artists and aspiring artists to play the passengers and terrorists.

During the workshops, the film maker made sure to conduct different workshops for actors who were reprising the roles of passengers and terrorists. They weren’t allowed to mingle until they met face to face when shooting for the scenes when they hijack the flight at gun point.

This is done to maintain the shock value on the faces of the actors and to see that their interactions turn out to be realistic says the producer of the movie Atul Kasbekar.
