When big films are failing to beat the records set by Baahubali 2, wouldn’t be a phenomenal achievement for a small movie to do so? That is precisely what one just witnessed with Uri – The Surgical Strike.

This small movie made on a moderate and controlled budget with no real known faces is creating a sensation at the box office. The trending, the war based flick is showing is out of the world and was last seen with Aamir Khan starrer 3 Idiots only.

Coming to the record, Uri is showing fantastic hold, and on its fourth Saturday, it has collected 6.30Cr Nett. In the process, it has bettered the previous best record (for that day) set by Baahubali 2 which is around 6.20 Cr. The next best on the list is 3 Idiots which did close to 4 Cr. One can imagine the magnitude of the record. Uri has so far collected 181 Cr and is all set to cross 200 Cr soon.
