Political script of Iron Lady stuck for legal issues

Bollywood director Manish Gupta is working on his upcoming political biopic on our former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and seasoned actress Vidya Balan is going to essay the prestigious title role as Indira Gandhi.

Making the film didn’t turn out to be an easy task for the maker as he is now stuck with legal issues of making the film on a personality like Ms.Gandhi. Seems the episodes like ‘Emergency Days’ may give rise to obvious conflicts and hence the director has to sort out such issues.

So the makers are extremely secretive of what parts of the former PM’s biography would go into the biopic and what had to be left out because of their controversial nature. If everything goes well, the Manish Gupta would start filming the biopic from this year itself.
