Radhika’s Short Film Copied from ‘BOB’

We have been hearing films being inspired or either copied from films from other film industries, especially from Hollywood. But here is a controversy in which an Indian short film is copied from a Nepalese short film which was uploaded as a private video on Vimeo.

Here the short film in discussion is ‘Kriti’ starring Radhika Apte, Manoj Bajpai and other renowned actors of Bollywood. It is said to be copied from Nepalese short film ‘BOB’ directed by Aneel Neupane. He is deeply pained for the act of Shirish Kundar, the director of ‘Kriti’.

The director took to Facebook to reveal the sweat behind making the short film and how easily the makers of ‘Kriti’ simply copied it scene by scene without even taking permissions. He was particularly angry on how Shirish Kundar and directors who are equipped financially couldn’t understand his ordeals to get finances for his film.
