Rajinikanth Praises Aamir, SRK Fans Offended!

With the release of Coolie just days away excitement is running high as fans look forward to seeing superstar Rajinikanth back on the big screen. The music the cast and the storyline have generated strong buzz and the film’s impressive pre sales show just how eager audiences are.

However Shah Rukh Khan fans have been left offended by a remark Rajinikanth made during a promotional event. Speaking on stage Rajini mentioned that there is Salman Khan there is Shah Rukh Khan and then there is Aamir Khan who stands tall among them all. He also went on to call Aamir a legend.

This statement has not gone down well with Shah Rukh Khan’s fanbase. Many expressed their disappointment on social media with some even calling for a boycott of Coolie. They criticised Rajinikanth for not acknowledging Shah Rukh as being on par with Aamir and labelled him shameless insecure and two faced.

Fans believe Shah Rukh Khan’s humility and generosity are often taken for granted by big stars who choose to undermine him. A section of the audience has also pledged to support War 2 instead of watching Coolie claiming Rajinikanth only praises actors connected to his films while ignoring others.

In Coolie Aamir Khan plays the role of Daha appearing in a rugged look with a tank top tattoos and piercings. While this bold transformation initially excited fans the recent controversy has left many wondering whether the hype around the film will remain unaffected.
