A new glimpse of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana has been released after a long wait. The teaser has received mixed reactions from viewers. One major point of discussion is the absence of Hanuman, which has sparked debate across social media platforms.
Sunny Deol is set to play Hanuman in the film. According to Times Now, the actor has been busy with other commitments. While he has completed his short cameo for the first part, his portions for the second part are yet to be filmed.
The recently released video is expected to be part of a long promotional campaign. The makers may reveal Hanuman’s look in future promotions. There is also a chance they may keep it hidden until the film’s release.
Many viewers are not satisfied with this decision. Hanuman is considered a key character in Ramayana. Based on this, several fans believe the makers should have revealed at least a brief look of Sunny Deol.
Social media users also highlighted the timing of the teaser release. Since it arrived on Hanuman Jayanti, many felt it was the perfect moment to present a surprise. The absence of such a reveal has disappointed a section of fans.
Trade experts believe star appearances matter mainly until audiences enter theatres. After that, the focus shifts to storytelling and presentation. As this is only a glimpse, it is too early to judge the film’s overall quality or authenticity.
Some viewers feel Sunny Deol’s brief role could still have a strong impact. They believe his presence may attract audiences, especially for the next part. It remains to be seen whether his look will be revealed before release.
