Ratings and Legal Issues for Latest Release

The makers of ‘Shivaay’ movie, especially the hero, producer, and director, Ajay Devgan is presently in a pickle not only because of the film’s flop show at the box-office and the legal issues it got entangled in.

The film got poor ratings not only from initial shows but also after release reviews and the word of mouth isn’t encouraging. Made with a budget of Rs. 150 crores, the film seems to be heading towards becoming one of the biggest disasters of this year.

Added to this, the film is getting embroiled in legal issues. One Vijendra Kumar rai, a lawyer has a complaint on Ajay Devgan for using ‘Shiva Panchakshara Stotram’ in an incorrect manner in the film and hence hurting the sentiments of the Hindus.

He wrote a letter to the President of India, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and also to CBFC chairperson. He is demanding for an action to be taken against Ajay Devgan.
