Pic Talk: A Potential Game Changer For Tapsee

Tapsee has slowly but steadily created a niche for her by doing small but high concept and emotional films. Her performance is definitely getting noticed in all movies. But, it is one thing to be a part of high concept film and another to drive such a film that gets noticed.

It looks like Tapsee is finally going to get such a film in Saand Ki Aankh. The actress will be paying a 60-year-old lady in the movie along with Bhumi Pednekar. It is based on an extraordinary true story of old village women who challenged the norms of society and won numerous medals and laurels for shooting. They later became an inspiration for all the young women to take to that profession.

Tushar Hiranandani directs Saand Ki Aankh. Anurag Kashyap operates as a creative producer. Take a look at the first look poster below. The movie has been positioned as Diwali release later in the year.
