Saif Ali Khan: Suspect Detained in Madhya Pradesh

Two days after Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was brutally stabbed at his Mumbai residence, a suspect has been detained in Madhya Pradesh.

However, police are yet to confirm if this is the same individual who broke into Saif’s 11th-floor apartment in Bandra and attacked him in the early hours of Thursday.

The 54-year-old actor sustained multiple stab wounds, including injuries to his neck and near his spine. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital in an autorickshaw, where he underwent emergency surgery.

Saif’s wife, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, provided her statement to the Mumbai Police. She recalled witnessing the terrifying incident, describing how the intruder aggressively attacked her husband.

“The attacker was aggressive. I saw him stab Saif repeatedly… Our priority was to take Saif to the hospital,” she said. Kareena also noted that the attacker fled the scene without stealing any valuables.

Following the attack, Kareena revealed that she was overwhelmed with fear and sought refuge at her sister Karisma Kapoor’s house.

“After the attack, I was terrified, so Karisma took me to her house,” she stated. A video also surfaced showing Kareena speaking to her house staff near the autorickshaw used to take Saif to the hospital.

The investigation is ongoing as the police work to uncover more details about the attacker and the motive behind this shocking crime.
