Salman’s Hidden Pain Over Aishwarya: That One Song

Every Bollywood fan knows about the much-publicised love story between Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan. Their breakup not only made headlines but also left deep scars on Salman, which are resurfacing in a recent revelation.

Lyricist Sameer Anjaan shared in a podcast that Salman often listened to the song Wafah Ke Badle Wafah Nahi Milti from Tere Naam and broke down crying. He said Salman even asked Himesh Reshamiya to sing the track before shoots so he could finish crying and act.

This clip has gone viral, and many fans are empathising with Salman’s pain, even across generations. The actor and Aishwarya began dating during Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999) but parted ways around 2001–2002.

While their relationship was admired, Aishwarya later revealed she faced verbal, emotional, and physical abuse from Salman. She described the experience as distressing and said ending it was necessary for her dignity and well-being.

Known today for his “Bhai” image, Salman rarely shows vulnerability. This story highlights a side of him few people know. Despite dating other celebrities after the breakup, he has remained unmarried, and reports suggest he has stepped away from relationships in recent years.
