The news of Ganga Ram, which would feature Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles, has been making rounds on the internet for some time, and a new update is out now related to the film.

An insider has clarified that the film’s title does not refer to one particular character, and it instead speaks about Ganga and Ram, the main characters of the film. Salman would reportedly appear as Ganga, and Sanjay will be playing the role of Ram.

The source added that the makers are working to bring a perfect entertainer for the audience where they won’t regret spending their money and would enjoy watching two big stars of Bollywood on the big screen.

The film is being directed by Krish Ahir, who will be making his debut, and Salman Khan Films will serve as the producer. Notably, the news comes a few days after Sanjay said during the trailer launch of The Bhootnii that he is working with Salman in a new film.

But social media users are questioning if Salman is making a mistake by reportedly signing this film immediately after the failure of Sikandar. This is a time when Salman needs to rethink before moving on to any new film and check if it has the potential to present him in a different form.

Salman’s fans have been frequently requesting him to sign good films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan. A two-hero film is undoubtedly a bad choice for a superstar who delivered more than ten blockbuster films between 2009 and 2017.

A new hashtag is already trending on social media, which says “Salman Do Better Films.” The title Ganga Ram does not sound good, as per netizens, who are claiming that it looks like a C-grade Bhojpuri film.
