Kamal’s Rural Action: Comeback After 2 Disasters?

Kamal Haasan's next rural action film

After the back to back failures of Indian 2 and Thug Life, actor Kamal Haasan took a short break and is now all set to return to business with a rural action entertainer under the direction of SU Arun Kumar.

Even though the official announcement regarding this project dropped a few weeks ago, there wasn’t much buzz or updates about it afterward. Because of this, strong speculation arose that the project was delayed and some even started spreading theories that it had been shelved.

However, positive reports about the project are finally emerging. According to sources, shooting for this film is set to begin on November 7th, right on Kamal Haasan‘s birthday. Furthermore, this project will be a Madurai-based commercial entertainer and the team plans to wrap up filming by Pongal 2027.

Since Kamal Haasan’s last few movies ended up being huge disappointments, he is now in need of a solid comeback. Hence, the success of this project is crucial for him to reclaim his throne.

In response to these recent reports, Kamal Haasan’s fans have already started celebrating the news, confident that SU Arun Kumar will deliver a strong film with him. They believe that if this project turns out to be a blockbuster, it will give Kamal Haasan solid momentum before he begins filming for the KH×RK project.

Ultimately, there are still no official updates on this. It remains to be seen how this project will take shape and whether it emerges as a blockbuster success, helping Kamal Haasan making strong comeback upon its release.
