‘Script made me uncomfortable that’s why I signed it’

After a long gap of 15 years in Bollywood, renowned actor Arvind Swamy is back in the limelight with a brand new film. However, what shocked every one was the choice of film the superstar is making his comeback in to Bollywood industry. In a candid chat, the actor talked about his upcoming movie ‘Dear Dad’ and why he picked this movie for his return to the silver screen.

Swamy added that choosing the script wasn’t an easy job and that on the first read it seemed “very uncomfortable”, especially on a personal level. In spite of that, Aravind decided to come out of his comfort zone and signed ‘Dear Dad’.

The actor stated that his previous Tani Oruvan was uniquely unconventional and the fact that an antagonist got the maximum screen time really caught his interest. Swamy said that while the character wasn’t exactly “anti-hero”, his deviousness and cunningness made him one of a kind.
