Sequel to ‘ACP Rathore’ next year, confirms Director!

Aamir Khan’s super hit movie ‘Sarfarosh’ which paved the way for all his future successes is back in the highlights. Apparently, there’s buzz about a sequel of the 1999 thriller drama. The idea of a sequel came to the renowned actor’s mind three years ago. Director John Mathew Matthan of the critically acclaimed film ‘Sarfarosh’ was notified about the sequel in 2013 itself however, a proper script is yet to be prepared.

The director is currently busy with some other projects and will have the sequel to ‘Sarfarosh’ ready in the upcoming year. The filmmaker did, however, confirmed few details about the next part; for example, the sequel will have a completely different story as compared to the initial film.

Aamir, who portrayed the role of a cop working in Mumbai Crime Branch in the first film, is also busy at the moment filming for the much awaited movie ‘Dangal’.
