Shahid Kapoor is one of the most versatile actors in Bolylwood’s history. He has been involved in several challenging roles over the years and has always delivered in each aspect.
Though the renowned actor has redefined himself with some decent hits over the years, Shahid Kapoor still searches to cement his legacy as a superstar in the industry.
While he looks to have a changed persona after his 2019 Kabir Singh, the renowned actor himself stated the poor treatment he got before his all-out blockbuster.
It was a comment from a user who made more headlines than Shahid’s comments as he revealed how Sanjay Leela Bhansali treated Shahid Kapoor on the sets of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s Padmaavat.
The user, claiming to have worked in the film stated how Shahid was used to handle secondary shots, and whenever the actor suggested any changes or improvements, Sanjay Leela Bhansali insulted him on the sets.
While these rumors also flew around the time of the film’s release, it was evident that Shahid Kapoor was not given the status he deserved during this time.
During a recent interview, Shahid himself talked about how he was undervalued and everyone tried to make him feel lesser. He further stated that his determination and dedication made him turn the tables.
As Shahid Kapoor looks to claim that tag of being called a superstar, his upcoming film Deva aims to be an ultimate turn around for the renowned actor.
