Shahid Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor are set to share screen space in the Hindi remake of Its a Boy Girl Thing. The relationship comedy will be directed by Amit Sharma, who is known for films like Badhaai Ho and Maidaan.
The original Hollywood film has a loyal fan following and is based on the concept of soul swapping. The story follows a boy and a girl who exchange souls and begin experiencing life from each other’s perspective, creating several humorous situations.
The project has generated curiosity because of its entertaining premise. However, the biggest question is whether the remake will connect with today’s audience, especially when several films based on similar concepts have already been released.
