Stree Meets Chhaava: Big Blockbuster Loading?

According to Pinkvilla, Shraddha Kapoor is on the verge of another big one as talks heat up for her to star in Laxman Uttekar’s next after Chhaava.

The buzz started when Shraddha was spotted at Maddock Films’ office in Mumbai and fans and industry insiders are going ga ga.

This isn’t a casual meeting—Shraddha, Dinesh Vijan and Uttekar discussed a script based on Maharashtrian culture, based on a Marathi novel which Shraddha has loved and agreed to be a part of.

If things fall in place, this will be Shraddha’s third film with Maddock Films after the massive success of Stree and Stree 2 which cemented her as a box office star. The A-list male lead only adds to the excitement, so the makers are clearly looking at a big pairing.

With Dinesh Vijan having two ₹500 crore films and a reputation of breaking trends, the expectations are sky high for this culturally rich and new story.

Shraddha as a Maharashtrian character is a welcome change and shows her willingness to take on new challenges.

As talks progress, this could be another crowd pleaser, a combination of good storytelling and star power which Bollywood loves.
