Stree Meets Tumbbad: Horror Thriller of the Year?

Shraddha Kapoor bolstered the box office with her blockbuster Stree 2 and became the undisputed queen of the box office in 2024.

With several huge projects lined up for the renowned actress, Shraddha Kapoor is aiming to collaborate with veteran director Rahi Anil Barve for a high profile thriller film according to sources.

The Tumbbad director looks to start the shoot for the film by the second half of 2025 and is currently busy in pre-production for the next three to four months.

If everything fits right, Shraddha Kapoor and Rahi Anil Barve are in for a surprise as Shraddha believes that the film might be a perfect follow-up to Stree 2.

The sources also stated that all this started when Ekta Kapoor was in talks with Shraddha Kapoor for numerous films and one of them was this thriller designed by Rahi Anil Barve. With such collaboration between Tumbbad’s director and Stree’s fame, the film might have something big in store for the fans.

Apart from working with Rahi Anil Barve, Shraddha is also in talks for a love story involving his Aashiqui 2 director Mohit Suri, and co-actor Aditya Roy Kapur.

While there is no official information regarding these projects, it looks like Shraddha Kapoor will hit the box office by storm with such releases lined up.
