Rashmika’s Biggest Disaster: Who’s to Blame?

From Animal and Pushpa 2 to Chhaava, Rashmika Mandanna was delivering back-to-back blockbusters.

However, if good things come in threes, does the fourth one mark a decline?

It seems so for Rashmika.

Playing Saisri opposite Salman Khan in Sikandar, everyone expected another stellar performance from her and another blockbuster film.

However, while her performance was decent, the film failed to achieve blockbuster status.

Acting alongside a superstar like Salman Khan is every actor’s dream, but Rashmika may not have made the best choice by jumping at the opportunity.

With an estimated budget of ₹200 crores, Sikandar is said to be one of the most expensive Indian films of all time.

To break even, the film must earn at least ₹400 crores worldwide.

However, looking at its performance, it is expected to max out at ₹160–180 crores.

So far, the film has earned only ₹50 crores, meaning its theatrical run could result in a loss of at least ₹100 crores for the producers.

The only hope for recovering losses lies in OTT, satellite distribution, and audio rights.

Sikandar had high expectations, but it failed miserably.

Rashmika’s image as a blockbuster actress is now under question.

Instead of blindly jumping at an opportunity, she should have evaluated the project carefully, as such roles can sometimes do more harm than good.
