Actress Was Worried About Her Periods

Speaking about the period is kind of embarrassing for many, while that shouldn’t be as it is just biology. Well, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is going to make it a little easier with his film Pad Man. Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte would be seen alongside Akshay in this film and here is what Sonam had to talk about her periods.

Sonam was asked what was her reaction when she got her first periods and without hesitation, she said that she felt very happy when she got them. That is kind of weird as most of the girls would freak out. Sonam was happy because all her friends had got the menstrual cycle started and she was the only one late.

Having waited for long she was happy to get her periods the first time as she says. The film is about a man who made the sanitary napkin to the reach of every girl for the good hygiene while only 12% of the women have access to them in our country whose role is being played by Akshay.
