SRK’s Dhurandhar Reaction Creates Buzz
Shah Rukh Khan recently organized an ASK SRK session on X. Notably, the superstar responded to his supporters. But in between that, two things grabbed a lot of attention.
SRK will next appear in King, which is releasing on December 24, 2026. It is arriving six days after Avengers: Doomsday, and this has already raised concern about King’s box office numbers. But Shah Rukh Khan has now confirmed in the ASK SRK session that the movie is confirmed to arrive on December 24.
After this, another person asked SRK if he has watched Dhurandhar. Notably, SRK responded by saying that he loved both parts and praised the work of the entire team behind them.
SRK’s fans are undoubtedly happy that King is not shifting from its original release date. However, a particular section also addressed the fact that SRK’s praise for Dhurandhar proved that he is not insecure about anyone, and people should now stop criticizing him.
On the other hand, a separate section of people had a completely different opinion about it. They alleged that SRK was possibly trying to clear his image in front of the audience by praising Dhurandhar since he knew that if he did not do it, people wouldn’t watch his film. A few others even described it as a marketing strategy to create more hype for King.
As of now, SRK has not responded to the allegations. The Christmas period has been extremely unlucky for Bollywood over the last few years. However, SRK’s fans are confident that King’s promotional material will help it to take a big opening at the box office. A few of them even advised the makers to start the promotional work as soon as possible.
Expectations are sky-high for King, and there are a lot of reasons for the film to work or not work at the box office. Let’s see if SRK will add another blockbuster to his list after Pathaan and Jawan.
