Shah Rukh Khan’s King is getting new developments every day. However, the makers are currently aiming for a release by next year.

Meanwhile, the new update is that the filming process is supposed to start in May this year. Everything is going as per schedule without any pause and all of these have been planned by SRK and director Siddharth Anand, who took over the position of Sujoy Ghosh.
Although the makers have kept the film’s basic premise a secret, it is confirmed for now that SRK and Suhana Khan are not playing father and daughter like they are in real life.

The film will instead focus on SRK, who is reportedly playing the role of an assassin and Suhana will portray a victim being protected by SRK all the time.
A significant portion of the filming would be completed in May and considering the current situation, the film will undoubtedly arrive in 2026.

Meanwhile, conflicting reports of the film have also left SRK’s fans frustrated since they are not getting any clarity about the film’s release. Moreover, the makers have not released any posters or even a look at the main characters.
While many people would say that Pathaan and Jawan emerged as mega-blockbusters because of SRK, it is true that the makers created hype by sharing certain announcements a year before the films released in theatres.
If the producers of King are genuinely interested in hitting the bull’s eye, they should go for a similar strategy.
But it seems like the makers might have planned something better and it remains to be seen if they contribute to the film’s success in any manner, helping it to collect Rs. 1,000 crores in the end.
