Struggling Actor Banking On Hit Genre

After a flop show of Yodha with Dharma Productions, Sidharth Malhotra is dealing with a dull phase in the industry despite his good looks and decent acting skills. Although Shershah ruled the OTT platform, it has become important for him to bring a good film in terms of critical value and box office collections.

We all can notice the horror-comedy genre is ruling Bollywood with films like Munjya, Stree 2, Bhediya and now Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Sidharth has also planned to tap into this hit making formula and he will soon be seen in a horror-comedy film by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms.

It will be directed by the Panchayat fame Deepak Mishra. The creative team is also joined by TVF’s Arunabh Kumar and it is going to be a film that blends mythology with cinematic marvel.

The makers are claiming it as a never seen before project and fans are excited to witness Sidharth in a unique avatar. The film is called VVAN and the official announcement of Sidharth Malhotra leading the film was made on the auspicious occasion of Chhath Puja.

The film is set to release in 2025 and if it is able to impress the fans and critics, Sidharth Malhotra’s strategic selection might just pay off.
