Star Kid Finalized for Debut with RX 100

In Tollywood, ‘Rx 100’ turned out to be a silent blockbuster with bold and shocking content that attracted the youth, big time. Naturally, Bollywood biggies attention turned to this movie and the Hindi remake rights of the movie were taken away by Sajid Nadiadwala.

Unlike in Tollywood where a comparatively unknown name Karthikeya Gummakonda played the protagonist, in Bollywood, a star kid is going to make his Bollywood debut with this remake. Senior hero Sunil Shetty’s son, Ahan Shetty will be playing the lead role in the untitled remake. The director of the film is yet to be decided and the rest of the cast, especially, the heroine’s name is very crucial for the movie.

Ahan Shetty has good looks and a perfect material for Bollywood launch. It’s left to see if he fits the rugged role in a movie that has many dark elements. Now that the hero of the movie is locked, it would be interesting to see who would play the female lead as Payal Rajput played quite an unconventional role in the original ‘Rx 100’.
