Top production house says it’s not a ‘Copy’ film!

Shah Rukh’s latest film project won the hearts of its viewers ever since the previews of the film hit the media. Continuing to be in the hearts of millions of fans, the film echoed the sentiments of people across India.

This sentiment continued with the film trailer and the film’s only song, Jabra Fan or Fan Anthem has also become a huge hit! Despite all this, there seems to be one party which has taken exception to the film’s script. Indeed, scriptwriter Mohan Kumar Nagar has made a claim that the film is a copy of his story, Dummy which he had written with film writers association in 2009, and he has taken his claim to court.

However, the makers of film Fan are refuting this claim completely saying that the story is very much original and has been written by none other than Maneesh Sharma himself. The idea for this script is something that has stayed with Maneesh for 12 years and it’s a dream that has now been realised.
